Sewing Club

We need your intermediate/advanced sewing skills and donations of soft durable fabric to stitch mats for our dogs. The completed size is 24” x 36” and they are top-stitched. We can also use help on Long Island with cutting donated fabric.

Hours of Volunteering: Flexible. Volunteer your time from home with your own sewing machine at your convenience. Mats can be shipped to us. Shipping and materials can be tax deductible.

Requirements: Volunteers have their own sewing machine, provide thread, and have experience quilting or sewing clothes. We have written directions for you to follow here: Crate Mat Instructions.
