The Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind is a not-for-profit, charitable organization whose mission is to provide guide dogs and training to people who are blind or have low vision throughout the United States and Canada. Our services are free of charge to those we serve, thanks to the generosity of donors and the support of volunteers. To better protect your privacy we provide this statement explaining our online and offline information practices.

SECURITY
The Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind strives to keep your information secure and safeguard it from unauthorized access through the use of firewalls and virus/intrusion detection software to protect our servers.
When you place orders or access your account information, we use a secure server. This secure server software, SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) encrypts all information you input before it is sent to us. Furthermore, all of the customer transactional data we collect is protected against unauthorized access with the use of digital certificates. Digital certificates for the Guide Dog Foundation for the Blind are issued by VeriSign, one of the most established signers of digital certificates.
